Safety and Suitability

At Bunnies By the Bay we create gifts that bring comfort and love, and to us that also means safety and proper suitability. We go to great lengths to ensure that our stuffed animals, lovies and toys are safe for babies and children of all ages. Unless otherwise noted, all our items are made without the use of small plastic pieces like eyes, and instead created with hand-embroidered features, making them safe for all ages, newborn to 100 or more years of age. This information is listed on the hang-tags of each product, and on the product information page of our website.

Every product we create is rigorously tested for safety, and bears all required Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) testing certifications. Please note that the academy of pediatrics states the a lovey, blanket or stuffed animal should not be left with a child unattended until they are 12 months of age. For more information on introducing a lovey to your child please read our blog.
